through education, empowerment, advocacy and
service.
The Movement has been working on solidifying
its mission and goals for the Filipino
community. We have formed our workgroup domains
and invite anyone to participate. The founder

From the
somber wilderness
tiny fireflies merged
their particulate brilliance
to bring light to a dream.
Birds, startled, wonder about the
song from the newborn
with its unpredictable notes and
tune, piercing their being
in a relentless fashion.
Like the fruit from a tree,
the youth will ripen through time
as it treks to the open,
winding space,
his heart strengthened
by an ultimate desire.
Mankind chose to be wrong,
then came the storm,
each wave striking
with a paralyzing blow.
Can men still find
some glimmer of hope?
Can the struggling nation
resurrect and find its dignity?
The wind will turn
your lonely cry
into hoarseness and futility.
A yearning howls at tomorrow
with its flagrant intention,
disturbing the dawn
from its slumber.
As One Voice, we will prevail!
